This Internal Block Diagram (IBD) shows Connectors from the 3nd header of the Arduino Mega2560 to pins of the ATmega2560 mcu chip or related nets.
The many Connectors render this large IBD rather cluttered, the idea here in this trail is merely to show how the underlying information can be captured.
Modelling and style
Some Connectors in this IBD shows directed ItemFlows on, some have tagged values for 'net', and some have both (most have neither showing). Recall that it was remarked earlier in this trail that great are must be taken using ItemFlows to indicate direction in electrical circuits (here the direction indicates supply voltage provision).
Only «pin» Ports on the ATmega2560 mpu chip that have direct connections to «pin» Ports of :Header3
or related nets are shown. In some cases on the board there are actually intermediate nets that are not shown here.
Note how intermediate «node» block instances are used to represent connection via a common «net».
On the Arduino interactive board viewer schematic (SCH) view the pin p99_GND:GND
is indicated as AGND
.
